How do I remove tarnish?Tarnish is a natural process that occurs on most metals. To remove the patina, simply wipe down with a polishing cloth. Our #1 recommendation for tarnish removal is the Sunshine Polishing cloth. For more info, visit our "Jewelry Care" highlight on instagram

What is the difference between gold filled & gold plated?Yam offers styles both in gold plated and gold filled. Both gold filled and gold plated jewelry involve the process of bonding a layer of gold over a base metal. Gold plated items will eventually discolor over time. To extend the life of gold plating, avoid wearing jewelry in water and wipe off with a cotton cloth after each use. Gold filled items have a thicker layer of gold and will not change in color.
