We outsource durable plating ranging between 1 - 2.5 microns. All plated items fade in time, revealing the base metal underneath. Color can be prolonged and maintained with proper storage (keeping in cotton bag or jewelry box), not wearing in water and gently wiping down oil/sweat residue after each wear.
